Parliamentary veiling

Oversized curtain construction for the Interim Plenary Hall in the Mainz State Museum handed over: Curtain closed for the parliament. With an individually adapted curtain construction in XXL, the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament is starting out during the three-year renovation phase in its alternative residence in the Steinsaal of the Mainz State Museum.

On a gigantic surface of 8 x 14 meters a high-quality and hard-wearing stage curtain in wave optics was attached, which fills the interim plenary hall with more optical warmth in its colouring.

For this purpose, we added side wooden frames to a corresponding finished frame and provided it with a "Gerrits Trumpf 95" functional rail on ball bearing rollers. The new wool curtain fabric is flame-retardant and has additional sound insulation properties.
